Hemmamatchen mot Wolverhampton var en riktig tuff uppgörelse, där vi med mycket små marginaler lyckades bärga tre poäng. Nu är det dags för returmatch, den här gången är det Wolves som har hemmaplan. De kommer närmast från en imponerande vändning mot ett formstarkt Southampton och är nog väldigt sugna på att förstöra vår fina svit. Vi har ännu en gång varit i kontakt med youtubern The Old Gold and Black(TheOldGold1877), han berättar här om hur tiden varit sedan förra mötet:

1. It´s only a few weeks since we last met, how has the form been since then?
So since we were ROBBED at Anfield, the form has dipped a little. We’ve had a couple of difficult tests and lost against Watford in the league and United in the league. That being said, our most recent game against Southampton provided the best and worst of Wolves in recent months. A horrendous first half display, followed by a sublime second- gave us mixed emotions coming into this week.

2. We are more than halfway through the season now, what is your favourite moment of the season so far?
Favourite moment of the season in the Premier League has got to be the wins over Man City. Both the away game and the comeback at Molineux will live with me until the day I die. That being said, Wolves fans will always remember this season for our European adventure. The trips to Turin, Besiktas, Bratislava and Braga have been enjoyed by everyone, and we hope that the journey will continue if we get past Espanyol!

3. What do you need to do better in the second half of the season, to finish as high as possible?
To finish as high as possible we need more depth in the squad. On Saturday, (aside from John Ruddy) the average age of the bench was 20. We need better options from the bench at the moment. Not only that it will provide some much needed competition for places amongst the starting XI. We also need to get better at taking our chances. In recent games against Tottenham and Man United, we have been by far the better team, but failed to capitalise on the opportunities we created. With a place in the top 6 being up for grabs, it’s something we really need to make sure we do from now on.

4. You gave us a really tough game at Anfield, do you think you will play in the same way at home or will we see a different Wolves?
We did give you a tough game at Anfield, and before the introduction of the ’Orwellian Referee System’ we would have won that game. I am still furious about it now. But anyway…Wolves play in the same way regardless of opposition or venue. At least that’s what Nuno says. I think it’ll be an interesting game, because I don’t think you got in behind us at any point in the game at Anfield- which is your key strength. We will look to frustrate and then catch you on the break. Despite your utter dominance this season, I am quietly confident that we can at least frustrate you to a 0-0 draw.

5. Which players will be most important for you in the game?
Adama Traore. He’s the best player in the Premier League this season…bar none. There is no player in the world like him. If he could just make the correct decision 100% of the time, we would win the league- he is that good. I love him.
