1. You are halfway through the first season with Steven Gerrard as manager, are you happy with performances of the team so far?
It’s been a rollercoaster with some great moments and some disappointing ones, consistency remains a factor. There has been lot of chopping and changing due to injuries and new recruits. I still think Gerrard has still to work out what his best 11 and formation is. At Rangers the Fans have no time for a Manager showing blind faith in any Player who can’t perform consistently, Gerrard has said if those Players don’t step up he will replace them with ones who will. Gerrard is learning in the job, and mistakes will happen like shock defeats to Livingston and throwing away the game against Kilmarnock last night. But he can’t repeat the mistakes, it’s Club that expects and is unaccepting of repeated errors. When we have our strongest 11 and he gets the formation right we can give anyone a game. So far it’s clear we are s better side under Gerrard but still have to iron out some issues such as away in synthetic pitches, what we do when Team are compact and some Players need to form more partnerships with those around them. It’s clicking sometimes but not enough for that consistency you need to push for Silverware, confident that will come.

2. You recently won against Celtic in the derby, can you explain the importance of that win?
It was a major psychological hurdle overcome, apart from being one of the best days for Me at Ibrox, it was the first time we had beaten them inside 90 minutes in 6 years , although only 1-0 we could have won by 4,5,6. After some embarrassing results against them last year and endless talk of the gulf in finances, it showed that money isn’t everything in football if you do your scouting and recruitment right and you get your tactics right. But Liverpool Fans will know this ad Klopp is achieving more with less than their rivals. It put the fear in to Celtic Fans who already had it in their heads the next 3 titles were already theirs. They went awfully quiet.

3. What do you think is Steven Gerrards biggest strenghts as manager? What does he need to develop?
Strength is personality and drive one could only imagine being a Player around him that would rub off. His Man Management has been excellent the transformation in Halliday and McCrorie is the proof of that, they have renewed confidence and both have turned their career around under Gerrard. Gerrard’s biggest flaw, I think he needs work on his game Management, countless tunes we have thrown away a lead and not walked away with the points we deserved. Some incorrect substitutions at the wrong times and trying new formations at the wrong time. But he would be the first to tell you he is learning and put his hand up to it.

4. You loaned both Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria from Liverpool in the summer, how important has Kent been and do you know why Ejaria came back to Liverpool?
Ryan Kent has delivered some fine performances, he has been reborn at Rangers after some loan spells that never worked out, he is a very talented athlete. We missed him when he went out injured, he’s a fan favourite. Ejaria Didn’t quite suit the game up here it is very physical, he has talent but his mentality needs to be questioned, he was given a massive opportunity to grow at a massive Club and go on to even bigger things, but chose to go back to Liverpool to be sent out on a loan to a much smaller Club. I doubt he will ever reach his potential unless he toughens up and accepts sometimes he will get hurt, but you can’t shy out of tackle for that reason. I wish him the best.

5. Steven Davis and Jermaine Defoe has signed for you during the transfer window, what are your thoughts in those two signings?
Davis and Defoe don’t need Me to talk them up, their records and success speak for them.

6. If you were to rate Gerrard´s time at your club so far, from 1 to 5, what would give him?
3 1/2 out of 5
