Liverpool scouts are continuing their search for talents. Previous LFC managers such as Rafa Benitez and Kenny Dalglish signed several youngsters and the club wants to continue to sign talented teenagers.
Totaal Liverpool can exclusively reveal that Liverpool have been intensively scouting three teenagers during this season.
Two of them are Fulham players: Muamer Tankovic and Moussa Dembele. Tankovic, of course, is well-known to Swedish fans as there was big media coverage when he opted to play for Sweden rather than Bosnia on the international level. The talented offensive player Tankovic will be a free agent after the season and will surely have several offers – one might come from Liverpool.
Totaal Liverpool’s source, which we have good reason to believe has insight in Liverpool’s scouting network, says that Liverpool have scouted Tankovic and another Fulham talent – Moussa Dembele – during the last years. Dembele should not be confused with the Spurs player with the same name. This Dembele is a 17-year-old striker who has scored 6 goals in 7 U21-games for Fulham this season. However, our source closely points out that the step from scouting a player to concretize the interest with actual offers is big and it’s unknown if Liverpool will step up the interest with serious attempts to sign Tankovic and/or Dembele.
The third teenager Liverpool have scouted intensively is MK Dons’ midfielder Dele Alli. The 18-year-old is a talented midfielder and has been a huge success in League One this season. The fact that Brendan Rodgers watched him live last January could be indicative of the interest that the player will generate from Premier League clubs. Rodgers was in the crowd in the FA Cup game between MK Dons and Wigan in which Alli played. English media, such as The Daily Mail and The Mirror, did notice Rodgers’ presence during the game and wrote about it at the time. Liverpool have continued to follow Alli closely and he’s regarded as a very interesting player ahead of the summer transfer window.
