Inter-tränaren Andrea Stramaccioni gav idag en stark hint på presskonferensen innan helgens match mot Torino om att Coutinho kommer offras för att få in nya spelare.
AS: “I met President Massimo Moratti yesterday and we have the same objectives,”
AS: “The target is to improve the squad. I don’t need players coming in to make up the numbers. If someone arrives, he has to be of a superior level.
AS: “At the same time, any painful sales are linked to bringing in important players who will improve Inter. That is how the President and I see it.
AS: “Coutinho and Ricky Alvarez? I dubbed them painful losses because these are players who started the project with us and that is also true of WesleySneijder. It is always painful to lose players I work with.
AS: “I could let go of a player as long as another will arrive who can help the squad. Paulinho? I won’t comment on names until the window closes.”

Liverpool har kommit överens med Inter om en övergångssumma för Coutinho (Sky Sports).
Den pålitlige italienska journalisten Gianluca Di Marzio rapporterar att Inter och Liverpool är överens om en övergångssumma på 13 miljoner euro. Man kommer nu att snabbt vända sina blickar mot Paulinho för att få in honom innan fönstret stänger.
Inter har accepterat Liverpools bud och Coutinho kommer att förhandla det personliga kontraktet och genomgå en läkarundersökning på Måndag (Sky Sports Italia).
