Liverpool FC status

Frånvaroläge: Mané(inte redo efter AFCON), Henderson(tveksam, ryggbekymmer)
Trolig startelva (4-3-3): Alisson Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson – Fabinho, Thiago, Elliot – Jota, Firmino, Salah

Leicester status

1. Leicester are currently 10th in the premier league, a bit lower than many people predicted, what are your thoughts on the season so far?
It’s been a really tough go of it. We knew that we would struggle getting into the top 4 because of the all the transfer business but it’s been way worse than we imagined. Injuries again haven’t helped us and we just seem to never be able to go on a good run. 10th is way higher than we should be in the table.

2. Brendan Rodgers has received some criticism lately, do you think there is a risk he will be sacked in the upcoming weeks if you don’t turn things around?
There is definitely a risk however I do not see it happening until the summer due to the amount of money it will be to buy him out. If it had nothing to do with financials he would’ve been gone after the Forest game. After his press conferences to where he even admits that he took the team as far as he could just means that he is on the way out.

3. Your injury situation has been a problem this season, which players are currently out?
Wesley Fofana is almost back but not yet after his broken leg in pre-season. Jonny Evans and Jamie Vardy are out until March-April. And Timothy Castagne will be out until March.

4. James Maddison has been getting a lot of praise lately, would you say he has taken another step in his development this season and what do you think about his long term future at Leicester?
To me James has been the same this year as in years past he will show great glimpses of being the best number 10 in the Prem. But then he’ll go back to a guy that’s just kind of there. If he gets any sort of consistency he will be a hot commodity. His future at Leicester I think is after this season at most after next season I think after our summer clearout he’ll be one of those that have left.

5. You signed Patson Daka this summer, how has his first season at Leicester been? By far the brightest part of our season was signing Patson. His pace and clinical ability had been so refreshing to watch especially without Vardy for the last month or so. He will easily be a vital player in our rebuild.

6. It was a quiet transfer window for Leicester, where you surprised that nothing happened?
Sadly I was not we have signed 6 players in the last 5 winter transfer windows (or something like that) so even though we desperately need a CB us not signing anyone is not at all shocking to me.

7. What kind of game do you expect at Anfield?
I do not expect it to be a good game. I think the game at the KP was the best Liverpool was gonna get from us and the atmosphere was incredible but we always seem tos truffle at Anfield so I see at best a point for LCFC but in my opinion Liverpool should win this game.
