Ryktet som gör gällande att Adam Lallana är på väg till Liverpool är mycket hett. Spekulationerna blev inte mindre av att Lallana sa följande i Southamptons senaste matchprogram:

I’m ambitious. I want to one day play in Champions League and compete for Premier League title.

I dagens TV-studio snackades också om Lallana-till-Liverpool-ryktet. The Independents journalist Sam Wallace kommenterade ryktet så här i MOTD2 Extra:

There is a lot talk in the newspapers that Liverpool is where Adam Lallana has chosen to go, but he probably could have had a pick of clubs.

Brendan Rodgers has shown this year he is prepared to give young players a chance and that makes them a very attractive proposition.

Den förre Arsenal-backen Martin Keown var positivt inställd till en övergång när han kommenterade ryktet i samma program:

Brendan Rodgers has been tactically brilliant for Liverpool. Steven Gerrard has been played in a different position, Raheem Sterling has come in.
